American Standard 3V Series Cast Iron Double-Groove QD Sheaves For 3V Belts

3V series double groove QD (quick removal) bushing block applies to 3V, 3VX, 3V belt, and 3VX belt. Their diameters range from 2.20 inches to 25.00 inches. Depending on the pulley size, they use JA, SH, SDS, SK, or SF QD bushings, which we also have in stock. Most of our double groove 3V QD pulleys are high-strength Grade 35 cast iron, coated with phosphate and anti-corrosion paint. All these are balanced at the factory to ensure the machine’s smooth operation.

Details to be noted when replacing the pulley
When the production equipment is used for a long time, its parts will inevitably wear and must be replaced. When replacing the European standard conical sleeve pulley, use a suitable Allen key to remove the locking screw. Then, screw the removed screw into the removal hole to separate the pulley and conical sleeve. If the tapered sleeve cannot be removed from the shaft, tap lightly with a rubber tool to separate the tapered sleeve from the steering column. In addition, what details should be paid attention to when replacing the pulley?
Details to be noted when replacing the pulley:
1. When replacing the belt pulley, first ensure that the surface of the belt pulley is not damaged, and apply lubricating oil on the shaft hole to facilitate faster removal of the belt pulley, so as not to affect subsequent use;
2. When installing the tapered sleeve as the belt pulley, pay attention to the self-locking method of the screw, and do not use a hammer or other tools for installation.
3. Screw the bolt out of the fastening hole and into the removal hole simultaneously. At this time, pressure must be applied to the bolts simultaneously. The pulley will fall off the conical sleeve when the removal holes are stressed simultaneously. The pulley has been removed.
4. Put the belt pulley into the shaft, insert the conical sleeve into the column keyway to adjust the position, install the belt pulley into the conical sleeve, and then screw the bolt into the fastening hole. When the pulley is offset, the bolt can be used to enter the removal hole for adjustment. After adjustment, install the pulley. The keyway should be fully tightened in the shaft groove. The key and the track will be damaged if it is too fast or too loose. If it is too loose, the belt will slip or vibrate. Therefore, when selecting the model, please contact the technician immediately for verification.
